UPCOMING SHOWS AND PERFORMANCES

Hey folks,

Happy New Year everyone! Regardless of how 2011 was for you, I hope and pray that 2012 is that much more fruitful and prosperous. I’ll be spending the next several months doing assemblies thru the San Francisco Symphony’s AIM (Adventures in Music) program on top of my usual teaching and performance schedule….On February 4th & 5th, I’ll be performing with Bay Area Reggae legend and The Godfatha of Urban Reggae, Rankin Scroo! On the 4th we’ll be at Pier 23 in San Francisco   Pier 23 Show  and on the 5th at The Town House in Sacramento  Town House Show – both to celebrate Bob Marley Day so come out to recognize the king of reggae music. Then 2/18 & 19 I’ll travel with Linda Tillery and The Cultural Heritage Choir to Canada; 2 shows at The Horizon Stage in Edmonton, Alberta - 2pm Show and again at 7:30pm Show .  Then on 2/26, CHELLE! & Friends is proud to once again be part of the Annual Pat Parker Benefit put together by local radio personality/artist/activist Avotcja @ La Pena in Berkeley. La Pena Show. 

I was also a featured vocalist in a  film out called “La Mission” starring Benjamin Bratt (Law and Order, Miss Congeniality) and Erika Alexander (Living Single). So far, reviews and response has been fantastic and it’s a really great movie  so check your local listings for showtimes near you or check the web at \”La Mission\” . Well, that’s it for now…..
